Omar Aufi is an actor based in Toronto, Ontario. Born and raised in Bahrain, Omar moved to Canada when he was 15. He attended Brock University and graduated with a BA in Humanities.

In 2014, he relocated to England to complete a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Acting. Since then he has developed his acting career by participating in a wide variety of theatre productions. His most notable roles were in Pericles at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, Spring Storm and The Workroom at the Off West End Arcola Theatre, The Stars That Play with Sam’s Laughing Dice at the Pentameters Theatre, and La Ronde at the Tristan Bates in the West End.

In 2016 with Itai Leigh, Ainsleigh Ingle, and Szandra Asztalos, Omar produced, wrote and acted in Lies. All Lies. The show was previewed at the Drayton Arms Theatre and Pentameters Theatre, and later ran at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

In 2017, Omar signed with Jana Abrams Talent Agency. Since then, he has been cast in feature films such as Depth of Pyaar where he along with the cast won the award for Team Performance Feature Film in the Five Continents International Film Festival. He was also cast in Hero: The Extraordinary life of Mr. Ulric Cross which also featured The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star Joseph Marcell, and was directed by Oscars Academy member Frances-Anne Solomon. The movie went on to win the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Diaspora Feature.

He was also cast in both TLN TV series Cruzi Control and Surveillance and has filmed commercials for Idello, 98.1 CHFI, CTV, Ikea, Healthy Planet, Zootch, Lever Interactive, and many others.

Omar has been involved in a wide variety of projects from short films like Plastic Grass, Gray Matter, and Cake and Insulin to 5 seasons of instructional episodes with Altus Academy. Along with being featured in the documentaries Making of Cake and Insulin and The Dysfunctional World of Battle Rap, he has also filmed social work videos, stock footage for Shutterstock, and has experience in background work.
